The Glideline GS15 sliding door is a premium aluminium sliding door system designed for modern homes and commercial spaces. Featuring a thermally broken minimalist frame with a sleek 15mm interlock, it maximises natural light while maintaining high thermal efficiency. The system allows for multiple configurations, including two, three, and four-panel options, pocket doors, and corner solutions with a movable post or frameless bonded corner. With advanced security, effortless sliding, and a flush stacking option, it is engineered for seamless indoor-outdoor integration. The 15mm mullion and all-round sightline make this the slimmest sliding door in the UK right now.
In producing this review, we’ve seen and tried out the GS15 sliding doors being made at Glideline and in situ at the Glideline premises and installer showrooms in Hertfordshire.

The GS15 is the slimmest sliding door in the UK.
Glideline exclusively makes GS15. The company has designed the door around with the smallest and most consistent sightlines, not just in the middle but on the entire door.
Alongside its incredibly thin profile, the GS15 comes with an up-to-the-minute design. Highly thermally insulated frames, high-performance safety glass and a door intended to be as thin as possible.
The all-important interlock measures just 15mm, making these doors unique in the market. But Glideline has gone further into getting the same 15mm sightline throughout the door set, not just at the interlock. The frame and sash can be fully concealed, delivering a near-frameless aesthetic.
The GS15 comes in all the required opening configurations, making it ideal for most projects.
Design and Aesthetics
Glideline says that the GS15 sliding door is engineered for uniformity, not just a slim interlock. And they’re right to point out that the majority of sliding doors, whilst having a thin mullion/interlock, continue to have bulky up to 100mm sash sightlines at the top and bottom, with uneven sightlines at the frame jambs.
The GS15 maintains an ultra-slim 15mm sightline across the entire panel when fitted into a new build opening. This creates a perfectly balanced, minimalist aesthetic.
This design comfortably makes the GS15 the slimmest sliding door in the UK right now.
The GS15 provides a new and exciting sliding door and is a departure from the many bonded doors on the market right now, all with the same 20mm-25mm central mullion sightline. Looking at the door, the sleek and uniform appearance is evident. At the same time, Glideline has engineered this door so it maintains perfect consistency and visuals across the entire panel.
It can also come as open corner sliding doors and pocket sliding doors moving into a wall. Flush thresholds and tracks with integrated flooring are also available. Glideline’s bespoke drainage system makes these doors especially weather-protected at the track.
Many sliding doors use rollers from Spanish specialist Manufacturas Pabose. These typically feature plastic wheels running on a standard track, delivering a good sliding action in most cases. The GS15 features upgraded stainless steel rollers and a stainless steel track. This enhanced combination offers an even smoother glide, improved transitional movement, and greater durability. More than just an upgrade in materials, these refinements ensure effortless operation and a superior sliding experience.
Every detail is engineered for a flawless finish, effortless operation, and a seamless connection between indoors and out. In
The Flush Stacking Design
Glideline was already unique in the UK in offering flush stacking sliding doors with this range of profiles with its GS20 model. Flush stacking is also available with this new door when chosen in a two or three panel door. When fully opened, the doors stack neatly together and not staggered, like other sliding door brands.
In addition to the flush stacking design, Glideline has also come up with an ingenious way of having the doors fitted with trickle ventilators, because many doors will require these, but without actually bulking up the head with a frame extension and the trickle vents. These are located elsewhere on the product.
The complete flush track option for when you have level flooring inside and out, with full weather protection and drainage.

Security and Energy Efficiency
The GS15 meets high security standards with a robust multipoint locking system with strong steel pins engaging within purpose-designed keeps. The locking system operates via a hidden handle design, further adding to the overall sleek design. At the same time, the handle is easy to use, and final locking is simple to activate.
The doors will have a slim flip lock like the GS20 model, for locking inside and outside. There will also be a slim up/down lock that can be locked from the inside only.
The GS15 is designed exclusively as a double-glazed panel to maintain a slim, sleek profile in both directions—perfect for projects where space and aesthetics matter.
With a toughened, argon-filled 1.0 centre pane unit, it achieves an impressive overall U-value of 1.2. This delivers better thermal efficiency than the GS20, thanks to its slimmer profiles and reduced spacer bar thickness. The result? A high-performance panel that enhances insulation without adding bulk.

Other Products to Compare with Glideline GS15 Sliding Doors.
As far as a 15mm sightline is concerned, this door doesn’t have a direct competitor. Any of the bonded 20mm sliding doors can be compared with GS15. However, as we mention in our Cortizo sliding door buying guide, the quality of these sophisticated doors very much depends on who makes them. This door is unique because of its slimmer interlock, better rollers and track, improved drainage system, flush stacking facility and how the entire door is crafted, delivered and installed. Comparable sliding doors, although much more expensive are:
- Solarlux cero sliding doors.
- Sunflex SF 60 and SF 85.
- Glideline GS20 with a 20mm mullion.
- Schüco Sliding Doors in the ASE 51 PD model.
