Alumina French doors utilise the same aluminium profiles as the Alumina bifold door providing a consistent appearance where your home requires both bifolding doors as well as French Doors.
Where you can use Alumina French Doors.

Alumina French door Options and Features
Alumina French doors come with a number of features and benefits, over and above the usual advantages of aluminium doors.
Appealing Aesthetics.
Just like the suite of Alumina bifolding doors, French doors have sculptured lines. They work perfectly as stand-alone doors and match the full suite of Liniar windows.
Bigger Door Sizes
The significant advantage of Alumina French doors is their bigger sizes. Doors offer larger widths and heights compared to PVCu and composite French doors. With sizes up to 2.4m wide and 2.5m high, the benefit is larger doors, bigger glass and less reliance on side panels or glazed top lights.
Low U-Values
Alumina French doors achieve a U-value as low as 1.2W/m²K when triple glazed. Even as a double glazed door, energy efficiency comes as standard. As well as the polyamide thermal break in the door profiles, there is the ModLok™ technology, improving U-Values even more. The benefit is a very energy efficient door in the home. Double glazing is with 28mm glass, triple glazing with 36mm or 40mm glass.
Flexible door designs.
Alumina French doors come with a range of PVCu beads, transoms and mullions, midrail sections and profile add-ons. The benefit is more flexible door designs and suitability for installation in both new build and replacement applications.
Extensive colour options.
The Alumina system, including its French doors, benefits from colour options and finishes, over and above the standard RAL colours available on aluminium products. Standard colours include white, black or grey as well as the full RAL colour range.
The foiled finishes of Alumina French doors give a coloured or woodgrain aluminium doors with a warm-to-the-touch exterior. The visual appearance of foils is also different to a matt or gloss finish polyester powder coat. The benefit is a bigger choice of colour textures and a better match to existing PVCu windows and doors.
Five threshold options.
Five options for door thresholds mean Alumina French doors suit new build, replacement and specific requirements. The benefit is a door system to meet any type of installation. There is a standard frame with a cill, low thresholds and a ramp type threshold as well. As a result, Alumina is one of the few low threshold doors on the market with a severe weather rating. Finally, a Part M compliant threshold meets commercial installations or wheelchair access requirements.
A fully matched system.
The Alumina system is one of a few in the UK offering a fully matched door suite of single doors, French doors and bifolding doors. This full matching extends to the entire range of Liniar finishing trims as well.
