Over many years Cheltenham racecourse struggled to cope with the success of the four-day annual horse-racing event. The Jockey Club has been studying and planning how best to improve the facilities at Cheltenham, not to increase capacity at the venue, but to make the visitor experience better.

Curtain Walling.
Two types of Kawneer curtain walling is installed to the external and internal areas. The AA®100 50mm capped and mullion drained system as well as the Kawneer Structural Silicone Glazed variant.
Kawneer Lift and Slide Doors.
The AA®3572 lift and slide contemporary door features within the curtain walling systems. Kawneer lift and slide doors are a logical product to specify on such a development. Not only do they provide excellent weathering over the five and a half storeys, but they also offer panoramic views over the racecourse. Kawneer lift and slide doors can achieve sliding panels of 9 square metres.
Kawneer Bifolding doors.
For hospitality and other areas at Cheltenham Racecourse, Kawneer AA®3720 bifolding doors are installed. Bifolding doors may be regarded as a domestic product, but for commercial buildings such as public venues with hospitality and viewing areas, a bifolding door provides a flexible door option.
